First fast food restaurant opened at the beginning of 20th century and since then many more opened. Some of them failed but a lot of them still work. We will me mention some of them here:
Arby's

Chipotle Mexican Grill
: a chain of fast food restaurants that is specialized in selling burritos and tacos. It was founded in 1993 by Steve Ells. Today it has more than 1600
locations and more than 45,000 employees.
Domino's Pizza
: a restaurant chain and pizza delivery corporation founded in 1960 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Today it has more than 10,000 stores in 70 countries and more
than 220,000 employees.
Dunkin' Donuts
: a global doughnut company and coffeehouse chain opened by William Rosenberg in 1950. They today have over 1,000 items on their menu and over 11,000
restaurants in 33 countries. Their major competitors are Starbucks and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts.
Jack in the Box
: a fast-food restaurant with headquarters in San Diego, California. They were founded in 1951 at the same place and they sell Americanized version of
ethnic cuisine. They products are egg rolls, tacos, burritos and poppers.
McDonald's
: the world's largest chain of hamburger fast food restaurants. It was founded in 1940 by McDonalds Brothers. Today it has more than 35,000 restaurants
across the world that serve more than 68 million customers every day.
Pizza Hut
: restaurant chain and international franchise. Their main products are pizza and side dishes and they have more than 11,000 restaurants in 95 countries.
They were founded in Wichita, Kansas in 1958.
Subway
: restaurant franchise the sells fast food in the form of submarine sandwiches, salads and even pizzas at some places. They were founded in Bridgeport,
Connecticut in 1965. They have the greatest number of restaurants in the world for now: 42,252 restaurants in 107 countries.
Taco Bell
: a fast-food chain that sells predominantly variety of Tex-Mex foods like tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and nachos. They were founded in 1962 in Downey,
California and have more than 6,500 restaurants that serve more than 2 billion customers each year.
Wendy's:
and international restaurant chain that sells standard fast food like hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, salads, French fries and other. It was founded in
1969 and named after the owner’s daughter. It has over 6,500 locations.
White Castle
: one of the first fast food hamburger restaurant chains founded in 1921. It sells hamburgers and other standard fast food.
